Bob Sly

San Diego native Bob Sly was a 40-year multimedia professional who recently retired. He produced, directed, shot, and edited scores of corporate, commercial, broadcast, and documentary programs, including two award-winning documentaries: “First People Kumeyaay” and “Prairie Prophecy.”
Bob holds a Master’s degree in Education and was a community college video production teacher for 18 years. Passionate about environmental issues and a long-time advocate of zero waste, he has been a volunteer at Zero Waste San Diego for nearly 20 years and has created numerous informational and promotional videos in the zero waste space.
Married for 33 years, he and his wife Donna are proud of their two adult children, Dillan, a data analyst, and Renee, an interior designer.
