Haley Ketterer leads the consumer battery recycling program at Redwood Materials, the nation’s leading battery recycler and materials manufacturer. She focuses on building practical, scalable systems that bring circularity to the battery supply chain—connecting households, retailers, and communities to safe, accessible recycling pathways.

Her work centers on solving real-world challenges in the collection, packaging, and transportation of mixed-chemistry batteries and devices recycled by individuals across the U.S. Through partnerships with local governments, non-profits, schools, and retailers, Haley’s team is expanding community drop-off networks, piloting sustainable packaging solutions, and creating models for a truly circular system where critical materials are recovered and reused to make new batteries.
