Leia Berube

Leia Berube manages the Environmental Solutions department at Solana Center, leading the SB 1383 compliance work for 15 contracts — including tier identification, capacity planning for food rescue, technical assistance for businesses, as well as Tier 1 and Tier 2 business inspections. She has extensive waste assessment experience at businesses, schools, and events, providing guidance to maximize food recovery. Leia has produced resource guides and videos for commercial and residential sectors. She also presents food waste prevention webinars and is lead lecturer in the Edible Food Inspection course. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a master’s in Sustainable Business Administration.
