Rebeca Appel

Rebeca works across the County organization with departments and staff to help shape thoughtful coordination and integration of community voiced priorities into current and future County policies and programs. She provides strategic management and guidance to advance efforts related to food systems, environmentally preferable products, workforce development, data-informed actions, and more. In addition to her current work, Rebeca was a part of the foundational work that established the Office of Sustainability and Environmental Justice and its initiatives, such as the Regional Decarbonization Framework, Departmental Sustainability Commitments, and various food system initiatives.
