Camrie began working with the City of Encinitas’ Zero Waste Program in January of 2022. She provides education and outreach for the program, specifically around organics recycling. She graduated from California State University San Marcos in December of 2022 with a major in Environmental Studies emphasizing in Sustainable Materials Management. Prior to her work with the City of Encinitas she volunteered heavily with the environmental non-profit Youth.ify, helping secure funding for global outreach campaigns within the organization.
